A 'flourry' b'day -_-

23th & 24th dec

This is the story of my b'day. The cunning gang of, donovan, hansheng, zhanwei, karen, carey, anita & bee kuan plotted the whole story...this was how it began..
After helping out at my shop, came home at abt 3pm, so I was too late to join the rest in flying kite oO but heard they had lotsa fun having em get caught in the trees, LOL.
Alright, so they went da Long John to have their dinner, and when they had finished, thats when I came into the story, met them there...sigh all finish liao nth for me to kop -_- sry thats the typical -me- :p
All settled liao then zw ask the boys go tiong bahru park, ok so we set off 1st then hansheng bought the nail clipper for eli, lols (expecting a violent reaction, but results showed otherwise oO) he's lucky lols. so ok, when we reached the park, donny entertained us with several tricks. Then the girls came along, zi come first and block my sight to prevent me frm seeing the other girls bringin the cake, but i still can see :P through gaps in her hands, then zw take the nxt shift thinkin that his hands would b less hole-ly but still the same, lol. so we cut cake, eat cake, play wif lighters, don pushed the cake in my mouth when i was eatin it ... dotz. after dat dai jie and bee kuan left, aww. oh yes almost forgot. I wanna say a big "THANKS!" to all who bought the cake :D first time celebrating in this manner oO
So the rest of us proceeded to eli's house, but karen and carey go home bathe and chng clothes 1st. we drank quite a lot of 100plus *burps* and ate quite a lot of crap, a while later carey and karen were back, then zw and hs gotta go. sigh then onli left donny, karen, carey, eli and me. Then, THANKS to eli's gre8 idea they plotted against me again...so bad hor...still ask donny fake me tell me wad stop zw frm goin home wad crap...then when i was watchin 'inuyasha' on central at abt 11:40+ they off the TV then everyone go downstairs. oya paya som see who tio n be the blind mice, 1st turn onli i tio, dat time i still thought that it was really so zhun. now i remember how eli last time always say hei hei bai to trick bart liao :@ use on me also !!! sigh. then ask me count to ten, then try to catch them while blindfolded. then i catch air...ok then stop, then let them move, then count to 10 again, thn it was 12 am i guess, then, "splat" "wham" "whoosh" handfuls of flour landed on me when I was still wondering "eh, according to my memory, that playground have sand meh!?". I finally woke up to my senses when i felt the texture of the substance and concluded that it was flour...-.-"
wads nxt? i took off my blindfold and zhao la! then ltr we started throwing at each other...cos of dat we gotta bathe. dotz, then eli still go 7-eleven. purposely wanna make me a spectacle. nvm not much ppl lookin at me, I guess they bought some drinks...so we went back, donny bathed 1st, followed by me, then the girls were playing around with make up -.-" does make their eyes more beautiful la, but then a bit too exaggerating to mke up in the night leh -_-"
It was 2+ as I remember when zhan came back, asked him to bring me one extra shirt...gd that he brought it or else i'll still b wearing my "flourry" shirt...we watched some ghost show which I watched b4, then wanna sleep wanna sleep liddat...cos I see the show also sian 1/2 then eli sit at the chain beside where i was sleeping then bo bian liao, i wake up immediately after my lesson when I was sleeping she go n clip my nose, wad the...right? so after everyone sian out we decided to watch wrestling instead, they fight we sian out even more, then we watched shaolin soccer, yay! it was nice :) watched till 4+ then eli go n cook eggs and noodles for us, mmm filled my stomach at least..
then we played truth or dare, zw tio until the most cham one la, lols, then hs though not involved also fly down frm his house at 6+ cos we play play, lols. sian out. When it was finally morning, girls decided to sleep a while in air con rm, we also sleep 1hr like dat on floor, then we went out da play bball, noob out then go back. abt 11+ or 12 we went back, yawnz was tired...
Left zw and hs follow me to my dad's shop. wah reached there liao all super tired sleep on the desk -.-then ltr we decided to rest at the playground instead but my sis still ji xiao-ing us ahhh..shortly after dat my dat bought some cakes for me oO was too full, sang the b'day song wif em, then hs, zw and me go to my house liao, hs play soldat, while zw resumed playing yuri's revenge..then I rested a while on a mat wif a bolster, then i decided not to, and took turns to play soldat wif hs..ltr dunno do wad i also forget, then at night I went to church for christmas service to rejoice in the birth of Christ, the Messiah. which is the true meaning of christmas.. rather than santa, lols...came home liao then plop go sleep liao ZzZz..

Topic: Face up to Reality

- Problems are there, we can't deny the existence of problems
- The Problem with problems is not with the existence of the problem, but rather
- Your attitude towards the problem & how you solve the problem.

- Some people may choose to deny their probs, escape from their probs, divert
their attention such as in political probs, and make the prob "he(2) li(3) hua
(4)" making it acceptable, such as in the case of the casino, or the prob of
homosexuals..

- Well the BIGGEST problem of all mankind is this: SIN -> which is most common
&already here and affecting everybody.
- We can't deny that, lots of attention and resources are used to solve it.

- It is clearly shown in the newspapers everyday when you flip through its pages,
how many have made the headlines because of their sin? Robberies, kidnaps,
terrorist attacks, you name it.
- Romans 3:23 for all haved sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
- The solution the world offers are, the police force, the military etc, however, the
problem is not solved. It is jus like keeping the SARS patients quarantined
however not finding the cure for the illness.
- The power of sin is that it controls us, making us slaves of sin, (thoughts, actions & speech)
The consequence:
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
-Death- there are 3 categories of death
1) physical death (body)
2) separation from God (eternal death)
3) relationship with God b r o k e n.

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, " Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

-God created man in His Image that is why we have these characteristics
a) we have zi(4) wo(3) (self)
- which is to mean, we have to take full responsibility of what we do. (such as sin)
b) we are like Him a creator, we are inventors
c) Thoughts of right & wrong able to identify what is good and evil
d) Have a soul -from God use: to lead, direct us to God and to communicate with
God, that is why we also have somehow a sense of religion, knowing that there is
a creator of our life.

We ourselves cannot face the problem of sin, it is not within our means.
And the only solution is to accept salvation
John 3:16-18
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

on saturday, 18 dec had friendly match with marsiling sec, RI, RJ (girls), Fuhua and JuYing which didnt play with us because they said that their players had to rest, oh well.. :( I only played 2 matches...C boys 1st Singles score: 21-8 against marsiling 1st singles. & C boys 1st doubles score 16-21 againts fuhua, actually we could've won, seriously, let's not talk about that, everyone present during the game knows what went wrong.
It was not the matches that tired me out, but the return journey, lols. We left RI at about 5? Later on, we went to eat at a food court. Then we took the MRT(AMK) home, Junyang, brian, bing hui,ernest etc took the train towards the jurong east direction as its was nearer to their homes. Then Teck Ee, Leroy, Wei Jie, Fernando and me took the train in the other direction but when we reached toa payoh teck ee suggested that we take bus 145 home, thanks to that crapster's idea, the journey took at least 1hr, lols, I was the first one to wake up when we reached tanjong pagar area and when i looked at the last row, all of the others were sleeping soundly, then i go wake them up, lols my fren scold me, then went back to sleep, ok then when we reached our respective stops, we got down, well I reached home at around 7:45pm, when I came outta home at 6+...in the morning, maybe not very long for u ppl reading out there, but imagine spending that amt of time in the badminton court, either line judging, umpiring, playin or watching the match...

on sunday, i went to church as usual, sigh that marked the last day of Bible study, we had a sharing session with lotsa snacks given to us by our dear teacher Lim Boon :) next year we are going to different classes for Bible study, sigh, I think I would miss these days...settled many things including rehearsal for 'zhu(3) ri(4) xue(2) ri(4)'...

On monday had nothing much to do helped out at my father's shop, rushed homework at the same time. kinda bored. sg teachers don't know the meaning of holidays...arg, mood today: frustrated.

wild wild wet days...thats how i can describe the weather...>< Thurs 9 dec...

Was out in the morning to help out in my dad's shop...sold gifts, watches, cards, some toys, some daily neccesities like cutlery etc..& some special stuff is the jap pumkin and jap sweet potatoes..
after helping out...actually wanna go don's house wif the rest of the gang but... :(:(:( sigh sigh sighs...i promise them to go liao but on wed night 10pm when i come back frm badminton then my mum tell me to go accompany my dad to hospital for doctor's appointment at 2pm...wah sian diao...but went anyway...came back in the night..the ppl that went to don's house also on the way back liao...ask them to play bballl, they say want, then later say don't want...purposely one..so bad :@ jk onli zw say he want...
so i went wif zw anyway, he jus ate wif eli at mac..rich boi n gal hor.. then got some retarded guys inside mac keep on using their hps to take pics of eli...-.-" so we zao lo..when karen n carey come we go seperate ways, anyway thanks for the 'su yus'!!! lightened my hw load :) eli, carey & karen go eli's house bake thinggy, or rather they went to buy stuff for it...then me n zw go bt ho swee cc, then reach there the lao aunties (not meaning to be disrespectful) were having some chinese dance practice...so me n zw heck go n play at the side where they were not there cos they swayed in the other direction, lols. blah then one of em come n scold us, tell us cannot play..bo bian lo...so me n zw zao, then go eli house lo, watch TV play sims, some crap game...(to me la) then ended up zw makin the cookies instead of the gals..lols, let's give him a clap lah hor...3 cheers for zw!! ok enough of this lame stuff..
then we played lame games as well...go home at abt 11:30 at least you could describe us as 'siao gaos' or 'lunatics' la..lols
wah reach home at abt 12...tio meh >< wah then carey still gt check up call on me n zw oO some 'nai ma' lols jkjk..i go home watch finish sg vs indo 0-0 then sian diao go n sleep liao... Friday- help out at my dad's shop, go home chng, come out rain, then seriously FLOOD! even the taxis and motors also surrender liao..all go n park and find shelter, lols...anyway i chnged into slippers, so nvm...i go church and help out...they printed sth wrongly on their little book which the church publishes once in a while so go there and use a sticker to cover it...though lame, but aiya help out since i got nth to do also..but hey few thousand copies ok, wah do until arm also 'suan' liao...but my teacher blanja me dinner so it was worth it :D

Saturday- hmm, also spent a great deal of time in church having some meetings, preparing some invitation cards etc..1pm - 7pm+ at church settling stuff and having worship later on..had a nic dinner again though...fried rice, sounds simple but it simply delicious...yummieeeee..(yummy) yeah, when i came to church on that day, it was also reaaaaaaaaal weeeetttttttt flooded too, drains overflowed...wah messy sia..but not as bad as friday's flood..

Sunday- went to church in the morning, after settling everything, i came back at abt 2+ push wheelchair to shop to bring my mum home (her legs are nt gd cos of side effects cos of drugs she took years ago before i was born, she had some kinda illness which was quite serious so thats why she took the medicine for a long time thus causing the side effect...) then on the way heavy rain -.- againnnnnn siann so i go home 1st then they took shelter...of cos la, not easy to push wheelchair wif mum on it while pouring leh...so maid, sis and mum took shelter at some shop nearby...come home liao drank a few cups of water, rested, then settle my com stuff, then abt 6+ i zao to clementi staium to play badminton wif my uncle, todae was fun, won most matches :D interesting too, to play with different ppl...then last 15 mins to 9pm when the sports hall wud close liao then i go n challenge this nan hua guy, wen long at the last court, play until 14-14 wah so close sia.....not bad..then deuce lo, I win 18-16 yayyyyyy:) he's quite a nice and polite person la...will play wif him more in the future, he'll contact me since i gave him my house phone...found out later chatting wif him that heactually noes my badminton senior dominic heh, wad a concidence, cos he is also 15 same as as my senior guess, they were frm the same sch...

Later on...whoooooossshh...some KAMIKAZE MOSQUITO flew right into my left eye...the first two words which appeared on my mind was..." WhAT THE!? @#$%&*!" i thought it zao liao lo, but havent, i use my hand to remove it n threw it away, wah...yuck, disgusting sia...then i go n use water frm my bottle to wash my left eye...I DECLARE WAR ON MOSQUITOES as from today 12/12/2004!!! blah crap. ok i think thats all, my uncle fetch me home, i come home, settle down liao write my blog and await tmr's full day of training...friendly match + gym session + attachment at cc...wooo, im gonna be so worn out...ok gotta go sleep liao or else cant wake up...nitez & sweet dreams everyone...~John signing out.

These 3-4 days has been the lousiest days of my life. I'm just disappointed with the two people who've made me feel even lousier than the sludge of the swamp. Thurs nov 18
its all abt bball. woke up, ate, crapped. Supposed to go play bball at 2pm...then i think everybody was laate lo...only karen go, then she was too early, as me to go to queenstown cc earlier too..so i say ok, comin down now.. but then i din't go until i finish settling my game, lols...(eh dun blame me if u happen to read this ah, lols) then i chiong down to the cc riding my bike. wah lame nobody come yet. so we tok cock, eat shit & do nth. (nve sing song la) -comes into play when zw come, lols.
Then later wanted to meet zw at queenstown mrt, on the way, met don, went back to the cc...-.- cos don bring ball liao so we played then zw came shortly after we arrived. Then we played...after dat, hs, wee chun, eli n carey came..wah seh play until very shiok. I remember getting the ball gonna shoot, i think, then i heard, : "tian shang you ge xiao xing xing..." frm zw after shootin a miss ball i think...diaoz..evrybody was like laughing...he can go for singapore idol man...but a bit btr than william hung la..lols. We played till around 7 and went home respectively.

Friday 19 nov - real wet day...

Yep we played bball again at tiong bahru cc, with karen leading the 'gang' lols. we lay until very shiok, rain came we ignored. anyway yep 19 nov 2004 is a day to be remembered which i threw in 5 3-pointers consecutively for the first time in my life, lols. I got tired playing in the rain n pushing the water away on the ground...the rain just came and went...& vice versa sigh. heck, we had our share of fun playing liao la. Then later we went to eat dinner together at tiong bahru the hawker centre there. boys all eat prawn noobdles but diff cost & stall, only zw eat char kway teow as i remember. then we shared one plate of oysters too..wah nice man...shiok! then not full la..ordered ice kachang, boys where shootin ice everywhere until ppl of opposite table complained then they stop. don shot one into my ice kachang, dammit. then the ice splash up at me :@ nvm i dont pay my $1 for the oysters :P After our meal we went to bart's house & did something...something so cool, which I havent done for a long time...hide and seek!! wah seh really lor dam lame but fun ok. when 1st group of catchers came to catch i remember i just hid in the trees not far away frm the catcher's 'base' which is the playground...saw them walk past & giggled, lols. hs was also wif me la. we crap finish liao then jus jump outta there frm a kinda high wall at least my height 1.7m. lols, remembered zw was so scared to jump. Then later we went home tired...dats when my legs started to cramp a lil too...ah now still cramp leh..

Monday & tuesday was basically full badminton day lah...today is crapping day on phone & msn where anita ra all the way, hs give ppl fine all the way, don & karen sweet talk lah, jkjk...-one love is all you need-lols, sry listening to one love by blue...-one love gotta stay alive, i will survive- -one love for the hip hop beats..- blah enough of dat, have a nice day!

My hated enemies: Mosquitoes

Got lotsa mosquito bites since camp...after repellent wore off, there's still plenty of time for em to feast on my flesh...mostly leg arms and neck :@:@:@ grr...counting how many bites I got so far...alright at least ten...some nve swell liao becum small small...alright enough of this -crap- lols
Today was a rather fun day with a full day bball, lols, as if we're training for a bball team...legs so tired now. Been dreamin of blockin don, but ya its jus a dream to block some guy who's abt 10 cm taller -.-" jumpin abt, ended up get pushed by him, aiya he play very the cheat one la...nvm played both fun and thrashing matches la...quite lame today missed quite a lot of easy shots...but play wif don 1v1 dat time zhun leh like 2/3 go in? or 4/5 at times...sigh. lols tmr going to play bball again. hm I'm gonna have a good sleep tonight man. Good night everybody!

Activities...

Recalling on the camp activities...well the first activity was getting 13 people to stand on 2 sheets of newspaper...luckily shawn( the ncc guy with a nicely & retardedly built up body) was not here yet...we were able to hang in there for 5.00mins...gasping for fresh air by sticking out our head occasionally for fresh air...phew, it finally ended n pts were added to our scoresheet...sweating all over...Yeah our group did a gre8 job, anyway our group was named 'the outbreakers'...quite a nice name I'd say...Later, the activity was the 'trust fall' climb up a low wall which is around my height (lower/higher than) 1.7m & face our backs to our group members, trust them, cross your fingers & ... fall back..was e second person to do it after my SL, Leon...cool man, heng nve drop..later when i joined in the effort to support the falling jokers..it was steady la, everyone managed to overcome their fear...i dun remember which joker but he/she fell butt first on my left hand n shoe somehow gave my other hand three slashes at the wrist which turned blood red but did not bleed & gave my lil finger a lil cut...hey thats only the first 2 activities...next, water activity, got a crapload of water scooped into my pants by my dear partner + friends wif no liscense kayaking n crashing into ours...+ my own carelessness too...then, the thrilling & exciting flying fox! which I did for the third time...I thought it'd be not much of a kick to do it again, but I was wrong lols, I still felt a lil scared when I climbed up to the top, but then jump down dat time, I sui sui la, tkae in a deep breath, shout...I am Johnnnnnnnnnnnn...woooooooohooooooooo as I jumped down as if I 'tiao lou' lols...camp fire was ok...fun to sing the crappy songs..an e.g of the chorus is: one bananna, two bananna, three bannana, hoi!!! n count on...lols...fun to see fire blow up too...we kinda screwed up in our group cheer...but yea, we did alright in our performance...loved the sleep though it was onli 12am - 5:30am...quite shiok. My conclusion is still that, I hate mosquitoes. They just keep feasting on me when the repelent wears off...-.-"

back from camp

eh came back from camp, started updating only today cos yesterday I slept from 2:45pm-9:00pm & 12am-8am, hahas. Well, let's see firstly...our Student leaders (SL), wei yan + Leon rocks man!!! Yeah they tried their best to boost our class spirit, hm but sometimes we also not enthu enough la, sorry la ok...yep, but their cheery attitudes helps us rock on too...
Our campsite was in Jalan Bahtera, the rope courses, water activities, flyin' fox etc were basically all no kick lah...jkjk..actually camped there before abt 2-3yrs ago liao lah..At least now better.. have huts but as usual mosquitoes continue to 'ka chiao' me...-.-" Weather was kinda cool, at night pull up my track pants to knee length, felt hot, still have a lil sweat on legs.. When i woke up in the morning, legs still in same position, felt wah kao icy seh...walk to toilet, also shivering + teeth chattering...cold..As for food, don't say dat Imma pampered kid la...they really give onli one scoop of rice/noodles for mealtimes...at e camp debreief they said it was cos of smthin like make us treasure food? Forget liao lah, anyway, my perception is that, 'we pay you, you gimme food, no money den say lah, don't gimme excuses...' lols..Overall it was fun, just that I think reading their so called '10 commandments' before meals such as 'clean your cutlery...' is real lame...will go through activities more thoroughly in the next post...
